ANTARA reported on 12 September that India's ambassador to Indonesia said in a written interview that India's BRICS chairship agenda closely aligns with priorities for deeper bilateral ties.

Under its innovation pillar, the BRICS agenda covers start-ups, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, research, digital public infrastructure and AI. The ambassador identified opportunities to expand cooperation in digital infrastructure, green transformation and social-sector projects.

India aims to connect the multilateral agenda with members' practical needs through sustained, results-oriented cooperation. The ambassador said the year's agenda would promote development cooperation while consolidating achievements and incorporating new members.
