An industrial software innovation subforum of the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Forum took place in Xiamen on 28 May. Participants discussed technology bottlenecks, application scenarios and industrial collaboration in manufacturing digitalization.
Speakers proposed closer business, university and research cooperation in design, production control and industrial simulation, with greater software security and trustworthiness. They also supported opening industrial scenarios for testing and applying products and solutions.
The forum proposed using the BRICS innovation base to explore standards recognition, market cooperation and joint talent development. Cross-border industry matching would help enterprises find international partners.
